Waiting on Wednesday: Dollhouse Asylum (#5)

14741373Synopsis (from Goodreads):

A virus that had once been contained has returned, and soon no place will be left untouched by its destruction. But when Cheyenne wakes up in Elysian Fields--a subdivision cut off from the world and its monster-creating virus--she is thrilled to have a chance at survival.

At first, Elysian Fields, with its beautiful houses and manicured lawns, is perfect. Teo Richardson, the older man who stole Cheyenne's heart, built it so they could be together. But when Teo tells Cheyenne there are tests that she and seven other couples must pass to be worthy of salvation, Cheyenne begins to question the perfection of his world.

The people they were before are gone. Cheyenne is now "Persephone," and each couple has been re-named to reflect the most tragic romances ever told. Everyone is fighting to pass the test, to remain in Elysian Fields. Teo dresses them up, tells them when to move and how to act, and in order to pass the test, they must play along.

If they play it right, then they'll be safe.

But if they play it wrong, they'll die

The Dollhouse Asylum by Mary Gray will be out this month on October 22nd!

This book is on my to-read list and all I have to say is that I am SUPER excited to read this! Not only is this book very sci-fi and dystopian, but there's Greek Mythology (awe, yeah!).

What really caught my eye was the cover and the title, and when I heard of this book, I thought it'd be a book about a bunch of girls that are crazy, pretend that their perfect and live in a crazy house (actually, that'd be a pretty cool story.....MY IDEA!). But when I read the synopsis, I was like "Wooooahhh. No. No. That's....oh my gosh!" Do you not know how creepy this book sounds?

Imagine, you're given a second chance to live, but are forced to play a game because this older guy you like told you to. Oh, and if you don't go along with his twisted game, you'll die!

I really can't wait for this book! I really wished I can buy this one!
